The Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad has provided free emergency medical services to the town of Westfield, NJ since October 1, 1951. We are an ALL VOLUNTEER organization and are available 24/7/365. We are supported completely by the townspeople’s tax deductible donations.

The Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization providing pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation. We render aid and assistance to over 30,000 people in Westfield. Emergency Medical Services are provided at no charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year to all those in need.
Call 9-1-1. Emergency Dispatchers will answer your call and immediately dispatch Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad members to assist.

No! We are supported solely by our townspeople’s donations that allow for us to continue serving our community. We are not supported (nor have we ever been) by taxpayer money from the Town of Westfield, NJ.
